Role Summary/Purpose:
In this role you are responsible for providing high quality training of the ABUS Breast screening products to customers and organize clinical trainings for radiologists in Europe, mainly focusing on the Nordic region. The Application Specialist drives and supports the regional training activities of complex clinical/technical products and services in the region. The role represents a part of the GE Healthcare portfolio, supporting specific product lines related to the Breast care area.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Application Specialist is the clinical/technical expert for his/her assigned products and/or services, and is expected to be able to differentiate GE?s product offerings, convey compelling value propositions, demo the acquisition station and respond to customers? and channel?s clinical/technical questions.
The Application Specialist owns the planning for logistics of customer visits to the regional reference centers, conducts the trainings for the acquisition station at customer sites and training centers.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Deliver trainings for use of the acquisition station to customer?s personal ? on-site and in training facilities or reference sites.
Manage the logistics for customer trainings.
Monitor customer installations of Automated Breast ultrasound products within assigned territory/region to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships.
Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training.
Work with regional Business leader to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities to meet sales and orders targets.
Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies.
Support development of key accounts in the region to be reference and show sites. Cultivate these customers to support sales efforts.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education as MTRA (Medical Technical Assistant) or equivalent.
Strong experience working with Mammography.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience with interfacing with both internal team members, external customers and industrial groups.
Fluent in English and Swedish.
Willingness and ability to travel 75% of time.
Valid motor vehicle license.
EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics:
Bachelors´ Degree.
Experience in Breast Ultrasound.
Clinical background in breast imaging.
Understanding of breast center workflow and practice patterns.
Understanding of IT workflow and connectivity.
Established relationships with key accounts.
