Automation Engineer to Akzo Nobel, Nacka

Responsibilities
As an automation engineer you will be part of the RD&I working with machine solutions for application of our adhesive systems. Together with project teams you will develop new machine solutions, update and continuously improving existing solutions.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:
-To be able to run the projects and tasks efficiently it is important to work closely with the project team including members from other functions.
- To lead the projects within the RD&I work stream and develop excellent working relationships and strong network with the RD&I neighbouring functions like: Sales, marketing, Purchasing etc.
- To be successful you need to follow industry trends and work with suppliers and other teams in order to develop breakthrough innovation.

The position will require travelling to customers, for understanding the customer needs, to make installation and trials.

Requirements
A degree within engineering, preferably Master of Science, relevant engineering areas are: automation and electro-technic. Some experience from working with automation for the process industry, or similar areas. Experience from the wood working industry is considered an additional qualification.
Knowledge and experience in PLC programming, C (C++, C# etc.) and of Microsoft SQL server, T-SQL.

As a person you are analytical, results oriented, structured and have the ability to handle change in prioritization. You are a god communicator, both in writing and verbally, and a good and customer focused team worker is also very important since you will be working in several different projects. Fluent in Swedish and English. Knowledge in German is considered as an additional qualification.

Additional Information
This is a permanent position on a full time basis in our office in Nacka, reporting to the Team Leader machine department.
