About the job

ÅF has more than 1 400 engineers working in the international automotive industry. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.

We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer with responsibilities that include:
- Development of power electronic of propulsion inverters, electric machines, and DC/DC converters.
- Engineering activities of the complete product lifecycle, including advanced development, industrialization development, production, and service stages
- Technical communication with suppliers
- Support verification and validation


Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant engineering or research experience
- Driver license B
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

Other: Must be able to travel approx. 1 week per month during sourcing to suppliers abroad

To be successful in this role, you should be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with people both internally and externally. You have strong analytical capability and use logic and methods to solve problems in an efficient manner, with the customer needs in mind. You have a desire to develop technical and personal skills with high level of motivation and a positive attitude.
