About the job

ÅF has more than 1 400 engineers working in the international automotive industry. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.

To one of our Automotive costumers in Trollhättan we are looking for Lead Engineer within Serial Data who will:
?Be responsible for Network Communication Strategy, including Network Management Concept and Diagnostics
?Update/create specifications: ?Network Communication, Network Management and Diagnostics?
?Support the management team with theoretical and practical knowledge within Network Management and Diagnostics
?Coordinate Concept selection for engineering, production and aftersales
?Support engineering team during relevant discussions with suppliers
?Identify opportunities and/or implement changes to improve products or processes to reduce costs


Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience in the work area, minimum 5 years
- Significant expertise in concept engineering and model based development
- Deep knowledge and experience in Network Communication, including Network Management (OSEK, AUTOSAR) and Diagnostics
- Good understanding of Automotive standards
- You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Driver license B

- Have the ability to plan and prioritize
