Bravura is currently looking for a filter specialist and tester for Blueair. Blueair’s core business is design and manufacturing of air purifiers, with products sold in 64 countries globally. The company was founded in1996 with 30 employees in their headquarters in the centre of Stockholm. They also have offices in China, India, Hong Kong and US, as well as filter production facilities in their factory in China. As the company is currently expanding, they are looking for a dedicated individual to join their technical team. Suitable candidates need to have a keen interest in technology and an ambition to influence products. This is an opportunity to a long term position with a company under continuous growth.

Arbetsuppgifter:

As a filter specialist and tester, you will primarily be responsible for running development projects as well as planning, performing and evaluating tests of filter media for the company’s air fresheners. You will be part of the technology development team consisting of 4-6 people. The team functions as an important link in the production chain of new projects. You will be developing and working with prototypes whilst at the same time working closely with project managers in developing new products, as well as improving current ones. You will also be responsible for the contact with distributors and different factories on a global scale. Your assignments will be varied, ranging from more complicated to easier tasks. Therefore it is crucial that you are motivated and able to see the bigger picture and ways in which you can contribute. You will have a supporting role both technically and in the development of new projects, but also by writing test reports. Therefore, proficiency in English is a must. The role may also require trips to the company’s partners/factories in China.

Profil:

Education:
- A completed engineering degree in technology, such as mechanics, electronics, chemistry- in applied sciences, or higher education/master in Engineering
- Specialization in filtering and material and/or chemistry is meriting.
Strongly meriting:
- Experience from the filter industry/distribution such as vacuum cleaners, kitchen filters
- Filter media, adsorption filters
- Filtering
- Air particles and gases
- Measuring equipment, test and test standards
- Motors, fans and air flows
Additional requirements:
- A strong interest in technology/innovative design and technology
Language:
- Excellent English skills, oral and written

You are curious and energetic by nature with the ability to get things done. You are comfortable working hands-on and have a drive to push things forward. Furthermore you are a problem solver with the ability to reflect on the work that is being done, as it is important to evaluate progress in order advance production. We would also like you to be communicative and be able to represent the company as you will have a lot of contact with team members, project leaders, factories and distributors. Since you will be working on a wide variety of assignments we would also like you to be prestigless in your work. This position is ideal for a person with a genuine technical interest who wants to develop professionally, within a friendly company.
