Our Creative Design department is building a dedicated team for innovation and creation. We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products suitable for volume production. We are now looking for a Color and Material Designer.

Description

The Creative Design Department, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will be part of a team of Creative Designers that covers the whole vehicle, and will work close with the Engineering Department. The work scope will be from advanced Design and concept studies to finish product. As Color and Material Designer you work with color and materials both interior and exterior and we put a lot of attention to sustainability.

 

The role involves:

- Develop creative and innovative materials that push the boundaries of technology and according to the brand identity.
- Optimizing material solutions to fit form and function.
- Work independently with a full range of interior and exterior materials and color.
- Sketches, collages and renderings to communicate new design ideas.
- Prepare presentation materials for reviews.

 

The role requires:

- Master of Science in Product Design or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in Automotive Industry or equivalent minimum of 5 years.
- Photoshop or equivalent software experience.
- Experience with Asian OEM is positive.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.

- You have high level of creativity, solution orientation and an open mind.
- Good communication skills, visual and verbally.
- Good planning skills and deliver on time.
- You are independent, confident as well a good team player.

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current Collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
