We are looking for a Configuration Management Engineer for our team in Stockholm

Role Profile:

Configuration Management is a field of engineering that focuses on establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance and its functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout all stages of its life cycle through control of changes made to hardware, software, firmware, documentation, test, test fixtures, and test documentation throughout the life cycle of a system.

The CM is part of a team that develops and maintains industrial real-time embedded products with highest safety and reliability requirements under harsh operational conditions.

As the lifetime of products is typically very long (multiple decades), special care and attention to the aspects of CM is required. It is mandated by the organization?s IRIS and ISO certifications as well as the internal process requirements.

Also, the CM has to work with verifiers, assessors and occasionally harmonization authorities to explain approaches, policy choices, structures and decision rationales.

The CM typically acts as an active coach to project members who are not well-versed in CM and makes sure that the project rules are adhered to by all project members

Qualifications:

-At least 3 years of previous experience within a similar role
-Experience in working with hardware and software development
-Good understanding of embedded systems and development of safety critical systems
-Knowledge of PDM (Product Data Management) and configuration management tools
-Change management experience
-Well-organised, structured, pro-active
-Fluent in English and Swedish
