We are seeking a Discipline Instrument Engineer to the Maintenance Technology department at Nynas main Refinery in Nynäshamn, located 40 min south of Stockholm.

As the position holder, you will work closely with the other Discipline Engineer Instrumentation and will be one of our experts on Instrumentation. Nynas is currently experiencing a period of expansion where this role will be a key towards our goal of production capabilities and plant improvements.
From day one you will be a part of a dynamic work environment with the role that has operational hands-on responsibilities and a high degree of interaction. In addition you will serve as a key contributor in projects and strategic decisions relevant to our instrumentation and Control valves. You will also work with other stakeholders at the refinery and our suppliers to identify and prioritize continuous improvements in your field on a day to day and long term basis.

As the position holder your key responsibilities will be to:
-Identify and investigate equipment performance, setting up follow-up processes to ensure best practice.
-Develop and apply best practices for installation and maintenance of Instrumentation and Control valves.
-Be responsible for the Preventive Maintenance on Instrumentation and Control valves.
-To secure Nynas expertise and establish relevant networks.
-Closely cooperate and support the Instrument Workshop.
-Maintain documentation and asset management system.

The successful candidate has a good knowledge about instrumentation and preferably also Control valves. Have hand-on knowledge and several years of experience within the process industry. The candidate holds an Engineer degree or has equivalent work experience and training. Today you probably have a similar position at a production plant or work as a Sales or Service Engineer for instrumentation towards the process industry.
