Due to our clients goal to be an innovative first mover in the industry and in forefront on design of datacentres, we are now searching for an innovation manager, a talented engineer desiring to become one of Europe?s top data centre designers. This unique and exciting position involves working across several engineering disciplines and represent great opportunities for the right individual for both stimulating assignments, responsibilities and learning.

Your responsibility will be to maintain and develop the most innovative, secure, resilient and cost effective data centre solutions our client can offer to their market. This entails designing new datacentre solutions at new locations. In addition, we expect you to redesign existing datacentres through modernisation and transformation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You are likely to be quite early in your career, i.e. from 3-10 years relevant experience, but also more experienced candidates and exceptionally talented postgraduates might be taken into consideration. DigiPlex will offer considerable training / mentoring for the right candidate so we do not expect you to be an expert in all disciplines necessary to design data centres. The more disciplines you master and the more in-depth knowledge you have about one or several disciplines, the better, but we are prepared to support great talents that have not yet reached their true potential.

You are likely to have at least 4 years higher education in either electrical or mechanical engineering, or a closely related education. Experience might compensate for the lack of a master?s degree.

Experience within mechanical and electrical engineering is of particular interest, but we are seeking out all engineers that have relevant experience for the position and can show great potential and performances. Maybe you have experience with designing control systems, work in our industry already, the construction industry, the consultancy industry, the offshore industry or other industries relevant for the position?

We will invest heavily in you. Consequently, we have expectations for who you are. That is intelligent, quite easy going (positive attitude), creative / innovative (still business minded), eager to learn, flexible, follow-up until projects are finalized, can communicate effectively in Swedish, English and preferable in another Nordic language.

GEOGRAPHY
The position will be located in Stockholm. You might live somewhere else, but must be comfortable working in Stockholm on average 3 days a week. Extensive travelling abroad is likely to the other Nordic countries and the UK. An estimate is twice a month for 2 days on average.
