Position description

We are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Integration Engineer to work with Body & Exterior systems integration/vehicle packaging for one of our automotive customer. We believe you have a background as designer within the area and has experience from working with vehicle packaging. Perferably with a wide experience of different materials / systems and manufacturing methods.As a mechanical integration engineer you will coordinate the different engineering departments and propose concept solutions and layouts that system owners continue to develop from. Work tasks include understanding system and requirement specifications, concept modeling in 3D CAD system, evaluation of proposed solutions from other departments and suppliers. You are responsible for a given geometrical area of the complete vehicle and work togheter with other integration engineers as a team to balance the vehicles different characteristics to meet the customer expectations.


Skills & Requirements

As person you should be organized with a solution and result driven approach and good communication skills.

- Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of automotive work experience within the area at OEM or Tier1 supplier
- Experienced CAD user, Teamcenter, VisMockup, Catia, FEM module and kinematic is meritorious
- Knowledge of requirements regarding Front end with respect to crash, (Pedestrian, FMH, Upper / Lower Leg. R- Car, Allianz. Etc.)
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Driver license
