IKEA Industry has during several years ran a program to accelerate implementation of the lean production concept IPS (IKEA Production System). The program is planned to be rolled out across the Divisions, as well as by external IKEA suppliers, where best practices in performance management, operations and way of working will be implemented on the shop floor as well as in the rest of the organization.
The program is driven by a group of change agents in collaboration with management team, shop floor personnel and support functions.

Your responsibility will be to lead and drive the lean processes in the factory from ?top to bottom?. You will lead demanding projects in our sites across the network and help designing and implementing future operations in our factory. Amongst others your responsibilities will be to drive shop-floor transformation and development. You will also train operators and manager in a lean approach, tools and standards. The Lean/IPS Manager is responsible for implementing necessary support structures to ensure sustainability e.g. performance management and organization. Coaching and challenging senior operational managers through a demanding change process is also part of the job.

Is this the right challenge for you?
We are looking for someone with experience of manufacturing with lean projects. Perhaps you hold a leadership position within a factory like a production manager or a project manager with strong interest in operations. You have an educational base at B.Sc level or equivalent.

As an individual you have good leadership skills and is really good in managing and motivating people. You enjoy working closely with others and have great communication skills. You have interest and drive for future career development. Of course you are fluent in both English and Swedish.
