Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Lead Engineer, responsible of the area of Variation Analyzing Chassis.

Description
The organization (TG dept.) is responsible for Geometry assurance from Creative design phase to approved car for delivery to customer.

This include target setting, virtually simulations, guidance during development both during ADP and VDP. Our delivery to project is Dimensional technical specification (DTS). In the physical phase we are responsible for measuring preparation, OLP, measuring data, measuring both off line and measurement in production.

The requested position is one of three key areas within geometry assurance, Variation Analyzing Chassis. You will have a major influence in shaping the work process and of course work cross functional. 

The role involves:

- Make a tolerance simulation and lead geometry issue resolution team within chassis during project.
- Support Design engineering dpt. and Supplier Quality with GD&T knowledge.
- Be Responsible for method, software and further development of GD&T scope.
- Support & review suppliers in early state
- Develop datum location strategy
- Develop processes and routines for the department
- Anchor the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible management 

We are looking for someone who has:

- University engineering education, MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Engineering experience from geometry systems in the automotive industry, preferably within chassis domain, 5 years
- Knowledge of tools: NX, Team Center, RDnT, 3DCS.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B
