Join Atlas Copco's skilled team in an environment characterized by research and development. They work with a wide spectrum of assignments – from tightening strategies and motor control to joint mechanics. In a team of nine, they have various areas of competence where their main goal is to help the customers secure clamp force in their bolted joints.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As Mechanical Analyzer and Developer, your mission will be to analyze customers’ joints to understand the physics behind them. This will be done by both modeling and testing. You will primarily work with customers from the automotive industry, but also with electronics and aerospace manufacturers.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
You hold a Master of Science in Mechanics or equivalent. Preferably, you are newly graduated or have been working for some time and want to get back to an environment more similar to research. Knowledge in the finite element analysis (FEA), especially in linear and non-linear structural analyses. Fluency in English is a requirement. Do you understand tribology, friction and material properties? Then this could definitely be the right challenge for you.

You are an analytical and logical problem solver, always in the run for finding new solutions and ways forward. To manage new solutions, you need the ability to create plans and processes to achieve your goals. Naturally, this goes hand in hand with courage, standing up for your ideas and staying strong in challenges – but most important – believing in yourself. You need all this to not only create long-term relationships with our customers, but also to understand their businesses and contribute to their development. Lastly, and in fact the most important key to success, is your ability to communicate with and influence both your customers and colleagues.
