At Propulsion & Controls (PPC) we are responsible for delivering propulsion and control systems at the front edge of technology to a worldwide market. Our products and systems are the heart, the brain and the muscles of the train.

For location in either of Västerås, Zürich or Mannheim we are now recruiting a TCMS Platform Test Lead for the TCMS platform functions team (Train Control and Management Systems) of the TCMS Products department.

The department is built up of multiple product teams as well as the platform functions team.

The responsibilities of the platform functions team is the overall technical coordination and definition of products and solutions. The team is also responsible for yearly platform release projects.

In this role you will be a part of a team of senior specialists and you will have opportunity to develop your and the teams vision of TCMS and be part of making it a reality. In this role you will be responsible for the verification of each platform release. You will lead a team of test engineers but you will also be responsible to develop test concepts and methods for test verification.

To succeed in this role you have knowledge about testing of embedded systems, but more importantly you are a good leader who can inspire, lead and develop your project team. You are driven and used to finding you own way towards a set goal. We offer you an international environment at the front edge of technology.

As our preferred candidate you have:
-Master degree in computer science or similar
-Experience in working with embedded systems.
-Previous experience from a similar role is an advantage.
-Experience of working with TCMS is an advantage.
-You are driven and communicative, used to seeing the bigger picture and sharing your insights with the people around you.
-You are fluent in English. A willingness to learn the local language is desirable.
