Project Manager

Role Summary/Purpose:

We are looking for a new colleague to join the CBS Project Manager team. The primary responsibility of our Project Manager is to plan and execute assigned projects according to agreed time, cost and specification according to established processes.
The project manager position will report to the CBS Portfolio Manager, and is a member within our project office team, consisting today of 11 project managers.

Essential Responsibilities:

CBS is an organisation within Life Sciences Biotechnologies delivering customized bioprocess hardware, where each customer order becomes a project with resources from project management, lead system design, detailed design, manufacturing transfer, sourcing and verification.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Define project scope together with relevant stakeholders
Establish a reference board for the project, to be used for critical decision / reviews
Lead the development team and secure delivery of customized hardware projects
Participate / support ongoing customer negotiations within your area of expertise
Control and report Time, Cost and Scope vs plan regularly
Project process rigor according to CBS QMS process

Visits on customer sites may occur which involve occasional travels to customer sites.

Qualifications/Requirements:

To be successful in this role we believe you have a genuine technical interest and problem solving skills combined with a strong drive and customer focus.
You are comfortable working at a high pace and to deliver quality on short notice. You have experience from working in a project driven organization and thrive in an environment that offers daily challenges.


Formal requirements are:

B.SC degree with relevant technical engineering, software or application experience from large scale equipments or biopharma industry
Experience: at least some years of relevant practices as Project Manager
Experience from working with external customer contacts
English and Swedish as working language
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
EU work permit

Desired Characteristics:

Hold a certification within project management
Knowledge from GEHC Bioprocess products or other suppliers products to the biopharma industry
Understanding of and capability to manage cultural differences
Negotiations skills
Development of Service offerings, i.e understanding of Life Cycle Management
