Quality Manager Thin Film Electronics Linköping

We are approximately 100 employees, and we have sites in Linköping, San Jose and Norway, as well as sales office in Tokyo. In Linköping we are 35 highly skilled persons, working mainly with the development and production of printed electronics in high volumes.

We are looking for an energetic Quality Manager to join our team in Linköping. In this highly visible and critical role, you will work within the quality management team to secure that our high quality standards are met within every aspect of our organization.

As the local Quality manager at Thinfilm Linköping, you will help establishing the company’s quality management system as well as being responsible for the quality assurance at the Linköping site. The role requires an ability to keep the big picture in focus while maintaining an attention to detail. Specifically, you will work very close to our manufacturing organization ensuring quality of our products. You will also be expected to interact with customers, subcontractors and our product development organization to make sure our products meet the necessary regulatory requirements and certificates. You will work with the rest of the quality management team to establish and continuously refine the company’s quality management system.



Responsibilities:

- Own and be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance at the Linköping facility
- Drive work within the area of regulatory requirements for our products together with the relevant teams in the company
- Work with customers to make sure we meet their quality standards and quality requirements
- Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards, e.g. ISO 9001
- Establish the company's quality management system procedures and processes in conjunction with operating staff.

- Monitor manufacturing performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
- Handle problem analysis (root cause) and corrective actions
- Handle analysis of data and preventive actions
- Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them;

Key Qualifications

- Manufacturing background with several years of relevant experience from quality management and quality assurance within the field of manufacturing.
- Responsible for, or worked within a team, that has certified companies towards ISO9000.
- Experience from customer facing activities and can easily interact with the quality organizations of our customer’s.
- Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish.

- MS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or other related fields are required.

You are well-structured and energetic, with a flexible approach and very good social skills.
