Senior HDD Applications Engineer
Johnson Matthey are further expanding their application engineering services to European heavy duty (HDD) engine manufacturers, and now seek to employ a senior HDD Applications Engineer.

Key challenges will be to provide technical solutions to HDD customers, using Johnson Matthey’s catalyst technology and to manage customer-specific programs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have

• A very strong customer focus
• A practical and business-oriented mindset
• A strong background within applied catalysis, preferably a PhD or MSc degree combined with industrial experience
• Experience of running cross-functional and multi-disciplinary projects successfully
• Experience in experimental design, execution and evaluation of emission control systems
• Experience in simulation and modelling of exhaust gas systems in e.g. Matlab to strengthen the system based offering
• Proficiency in the English language. A further language is a merit.
Our new colleague will be a part of a dynamic and experienced team. Depending the circumstances the position can be located in either our technical centre in Gothenburg, Sweden, or Redwitz, Germany.
