Position Description
The Sourcing Buyer drives and executes all contractual- and sourcing activities up to supplier selection with the purpose of selecting the most competitive suppliers from a Quality Delivery Cost and Feature perspective in accordance with the Sourcing strategy and the Projects? requirements.

Responsibilities
?Lead, negotiate and execute all sourcing activities in every phase of the product life cycle; i.e. Technology development (AE) projects, GDP projects, PMR?s when a new supplier is needed (e.g. supplier switches).
?Drive sourcing strategy, and ensure implementation.
?Follow market- and technology development in its area of expertise.
?Identify new suppliers when needed.
?Supply base management KPI?s.
?Sourcing for projects

Qualifications
?Strong Business acumen
?BS/MS degree in Business, Engineering or related field and or equivalent experience
?Automotive experience is strongly preferred
?+7 years? experience in Purchasing and extensive experience of complex negotiation with global suppliers
?Fluent in English, both written and spoken
?Strong team player, self-starter and the ability to take initiatives
?Willingness to travel from occasionally to frequently based on ongoing activities
