About the job

ÅF has more than 1 400 engineers working in the international automotive industry. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.

To one of our Automotive customers in Trollhättan we are looking for a System Architect within Electrical and Electronics (EE) development who will:
- Work in a team which is responsible for Electrical Architecture (EA) of the future vehicle development projects
- Work with Modular development of the Electrical Systems
- Develop methods and guidelines for the requirements of the Electrical Systems
- Be responsible for a system integration into the existing/future EA
- Work with Functional Modeling and Functional partitioning/allocation
- Support the management organization with theoretical and practical knowledge within EE EA
- Identify opportunities and/or implement changes to improve products or processes to reduce costs
- Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products


Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience in the work area, minimum 3-5 years.
- Significant expertise in concept engineering and EA model based development
- Good knowledge and experience in modeling and simulation of the electrical systems (Matlab/Simulink; Enterprise Architect/Rational Rhapsody), Automotive standards (OSEK, Autosar, ISO 26262)
- You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written
- Driver license B
