System designer for Charging and Power Conversion

DevPort is a fast growing development company with 150 experienced employees. Our main focus is on product- and production development in the automotive industry. We are also active in other development intensive industries.

To our office in Gothenburg, we are now looking for a System designer to be working with charging and power conversion for hybrid cars.

Job profile
- Requirement engineering with elements such as performance, efficiency, EMC, electrical, thermal and legal, as examples of a very wide range of areas in the function and system design.
- The person shall deliver functional descriptions, and from that a functional and system implementation as base for the team to design both HW and SW.
- System Design Lead in Advanced Engineering projects.
- Quality assurance disciplines such as FMEAs, Robust Engineering, system safety and data driven issue resolution.
- Participate in test activities and follow up on supplier implementation and verification.
- Cost engineering and benchmark.
- Report status and progress to the System Project Leader and to the group manager at our customer.
- Occasional travelling to our customer suppliers, primary in Europe.

Your profile:
- University degree within engineering, M Sc, B Sc or equivalent by work life experience.
- Relevant experience in hybrid/electric vehicles on both system and component level.
- Structured, data driven and good documentation skills.
- Integrity, courage and personal energy.
- Cooperative, transparent, good communication skills.
- Business oriented and flexible.
- Very good English & Swedish skills, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to act independently but also to cooperate and work within a team.
- Broad vehicle knowledge.
- Driving licence B
