System Engineer - Electrical

The candidate we are looking for is a committed electrical engineer that will strengthen our team in its work towards even better performance, functionality and availability. The position will be in the Rig System Group, where other responsibilities are hydraulic and compressor systems. The work involves responsibility to develop, implement and adapt our electrical systems in terms of both hardware, system architecture and functionality to fulfill future requirements regarding performance, availability, safety and legal demands. Specify functionality, develop components together with sub suppliers and verify the performance on the final product will be key parts of the work. This position will include both continuous product improvements within the line organization and on project basis. You will get the opportunity to work with advanced mobile machines and a wide variety of tasks together with colleagues in our continuous quest finding the right balance between different product properties.

Background
We believe you have some years of professional experience within mechatronics and electrical control systems, combined with a documented academic background within relevant area or other highly qualified engineering background. You are used to taking ideas all the way from the initial concept to serial production. You have good knowledge in the field of mechatronics or automation, good knowledge of mobile control systems, vehicle electronics and sensors. Good command of English, verbal and written. Knowledge in functional development and software is meriting. Knowledge of CAD design tools, e.g. AutoCAD Electrical is also meriting.

In this role you need to be self-sustaining, enterprising and willing to take responsibility. Your approach is structured and analytical and you can combine theory and practice as your work require skills within both areas. Due to the cross-functional nature of this work, communicative and teamplaying skills will also be of great benefit for you to succeed in this position.

In this role, you will be based at SED PC Örebro. The product company is a fairly small unit located in the outskirts of Örebro City, only 7 km outside of the city center. The size of the PC allows for a solid cross functional dialogue where all stakeholders are accessible, making dialogue around details fast and pragmatic. Being a small unit also fosters a familiar atmosphere where all employees, from management to the assemblers, hold the end result and the customer satisfaction first.
