We are looking for a System Engineer to be based in
Stockholm

Rail Control Solutions (RCS) is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signaling safety systems, products and services.
RCS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.

Your Role:

The role includes to work during development of a real time embedded wayside system completely developed within BT. The main responsibilities are Requirements Management and System architecture development.

As System engineer you will collaborate with other engineering departments in order to get all parts of the system to work together. Even though we strive for standardization each project is unique and therefore you will be working with new solutions blended with proven technology.

Your Responsibilities and Challenges:

-Develop system architecture for new products, both HW and SW
-Write requirement specifications during product development
-Be the center of expertise for products after release
-Take part of continuous development and improvements of the system design
-Continuously develop and improve design methods within the development team

Your Experience and Qualifications:

-We believe you are educated to an MSc in Electronics or have gained equivalent knowledge trough relevant work
-Minimum 3 years of experience of system design and product development of embedded systems
-Minimum 3 years of experience of either SW development, or HW development
-Experience from product development of Safety related systems
-Knowledge of CENELEC
-Experience of DOORS or similar systems
-Experience from railway signaling
-Experience from Technical leadership within system design of embedded systems i.e. having ideas on improving the system design and requirement management methods is required
-Fluency in English, Swedish is beneficial or willingness to learn
-Ability to switch attention between overall perspective and details

In order to be successful in this position you need be well organized and structured with good problem solving skills. You need to be driven with good communication and collaborative abilities. Since this position also includes cooperation with other stakeholders you need to be both social and have high degree of integrity.
