Wafer & Product Test Engineer

FPC is seeking an experienced test engineer to join us in developing future fingerprint wafer & product test development for mobile phones and other portable devices. FPC is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices.

The Role
As Wafer & Product Test Engineer you will work closely with our suppliers to develop and implement the product test. You will also participate in the design for test and evaluation of new sensors. Since our products is produced in very high volumes yield issues is an important field.

The work location is Gothenburg as agreed between FPC and the candidate.

International travel to FPC suppliers, partners, and customers may occur.

Your Background
This role requires a Master of Science in Engineering, such as in electronics, physics, computer science or the equivalent, as well as several years of occupational experience of similar fields.
You need to be fluent in spoken and written English and not opposed to traveling abroad. Knowledge in Mandarin is a plus.

Success in this role requires:

-Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of product test of microelectronic components
-Experience in lab work with electrical measurements
-Knowledge and experience in analog and digital electronics, or at least one of these areas
-Knowledge and experience in ASIC design and especially design for test

Preference will be given to those with experience in at least some of the following areas:
-ATE test
-Production of microelectronics
-ASIC design for test (DFT)
-PCB design

You also have essential qualities such as being ambitious, motivated and flexible. You need to be comfortable working in a growing company, where you will be expected to assume considerable personal responsibility for your own activities and the companys success. This also requires you to be a team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere in the workplace.
