Welding NDT QC Supervisor

EHRAB O & G Consulting is a company that operates in the marine energy and construction sectors. We have a formidable team of engineers, project managers, supervisors, management and operators, crane drivers who have extensive knowledge and experience. We are looking for a Welding NDT QC Supervisor for one of our clients that works worldwide. 


To be considered for this position you have to be:

-          Qualified according: NDT II Level UT-MT-PT-RT-VT (preferred EC also) according to standard EN473/ISO 9712 or ASNT-TC-1A and welding qualification CSWIP 3.1 (preferred 3.2) or IWI B (preferred IWI C).

-          Previous experience (minimum 5 years) in the same position in ship/offshore rig maintenance/construction activities

-          Speak fluently English language

 

Detailed Job Description:

-          Inspection and monitoring of welding and NDT activities.

-          Witness all tests according to Site QCP and monitor all the activities related to welding/NDT/visual and dimensional test carried out by shipyard/shipyard supplier on piping and structural parts.

-          Review and comment the NDT procedure/welder qualification  issued by the Shipyard contractor, sign the report at the end of each inspection, issue Not Conformity Report where discrepancies with the rule is observed and verify/help Shipyard to collect the final documentation related to his activities (including material certificate review).

-          Witness a site welder test that will be organized by shipyard on their welders.

Location: Worldwide

Contract type: Temporary (estimated to start on June 2015)

Contract duration: 12 months

Work/leave rotation depends on the location: 75/21; 120/16 and 91/16 with shared accommodation/whilst onshore camp site/guest house (10 working hours, 6 days a week)
